South African Social Media Awards (SASMA) Social Media Motivational Speaker of the Year 2022, Vukosi Mashele, is rolling out an online 12-day life empowerment series with local business mentor Nathi Gule, commencing on Tuesday 17th February 2023. The key focus areas for the series are Productivity, Physical and Mental Health Well Being, and Financial Fitness.
The series is aimed at assisting entrepreneurs and the public to produce a personal strategic roadmap for 2023 that is accountable and easy to implement.
Gule said the project is driven by approaches from Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) so that it is effective. NLP is a psychological approach that involves analyzing strategies used by successful individuals and applying them to reach a personal goal. It relates thoughts, language, and patterns of behavior learned through experience to specific outcomes.
“The series which will focus on 12 life pillars and how to develop them, will be available online via social media and podcast channels such as Apple, Google, and Spotify. I Matter Consultancy is powering the online broadcast. The core pillars for the I Matter series are Productivity, Physical and Mental Health, Social Life, and Financial Fitness for 2023,” he said.
Gule said he piloted a Positivity series online during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a handbook for users to use to cope during difficult times. In 2022 he hosted a visual series with Tribe studios, and for 2023 he has chosen to go the podcast route.
Although presented as intertwined subjects as part of the series, Mashele will be focusing on spiritual, physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. Gule on the other hand will focus on financial well-being, self-development goals, and issues such as productivity at work.
“We are evolving, and we want positive material to be on every digital platform; hence we chose to go for the podcasts this year. We trust the series will be resourceful as Mashele is also very experienced in these areas; hence I brought him along on the journey,” he said.
Mashele said it was always his dream to impact beyond his country’s borders and the partnership is helping him realize that dream.
“Winning the award means that one has to continuously live up to it so we need to innovate social media campaigns like this one. We need to refresh our focus the right way, and that is what we will be doing over the next 12 days. I am happy to be a part of this journey. We are looking at even possibly going beyond the 12 days, to have other impactful programs delivered for Eswatini and likewise by Gule for South Africa,” he said.
Mashele holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Sciences) degree majoring in Physics and Statistics. He also holds certificates in Digital Marketing, Life Coaching, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Meanwhile, Gule is the last representative of Eswatini in the Entrepreneurship World Cup in 2020 as a business mentor, and he has produced a series of mentorship teachings that have led to his mentees winning prize money for their business plans. Gule is also a renowned writer, author, speaker, and, marketing and business consultant.
The series is available daily from 17th January on their social media pages and via www.imatterc.com. It is also available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify under the handle ‘’I Matter Consulting’’ by Vukosi Mashele.
