The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) has set a confident and values-driven tone for 2026, with Chief Executive Officer Futhi Tembe urging staff to embrace courage, unity, innovation and personal wellness as the organisation moves into the New Year.
Speaking at ENPF’s annual Beginning-of-Year Function held at the Happy Valley Hotel, Tembe called on employees to renew their commitment to service excellence while anchoring their work in faith, integrity, teamwork and purpose.
“We have been carried safely into a new year, and for that we give thanks,” Tembe said. “But gratitude must be followed by action. 2026 will require courage in our decisions, unity in our execution and excellence in how we serve our members.”
Faith and Holistic Growth

Reflecting ENPF’s identity as an anchored organisation steeped in prayer and strong values, the Fund invited special guests to share messages on spiritual grounding and personal wellbeing.
Apostle Jethro Malindzisa delivered an inspiring message on faith, purpose, and moral courage, encouraging staff to align their professional responsibilities with ethical leadership and prayerful reflection. Quoting Romans 13:11, he urged employees to approach their work with renewed urgency and commitment.
He was joined by mental health specialist Siyabonga Mabuza, who highlighted the importance of emotional resilience and mental wellness in sustaining performance.
“Self-care is not selfish,” Mabuza said. “A healthy mind is essential for excellence.”
Resilience and Integrity
Reflecting on 2025, Tembe acknowledged that the organisation had faced public scrutiny and challenging narratives, particularly around the Fund’s conversion process. She commended staff for remaining professional, focused and resilient.
“We faced criticism and misinformation, but we did not lose our way,” she said. “We continued to meet milestones and keep our members first. That speaks to the character of this institution.”
She emphasised that ENPF’s responsibility is to remain truthful, transparent, and accountable, regardless of external pressures.

Living the Values
Tembe reminded employees that ENPF’s core values — Agility, Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, and Excellence — must be lived daily, both professionally and personally.
“Values are not slogans; they are habits,” she said. “When we uphold them consistently, they reflect in our work, leadership, and growth.”
She also urged collaboration and unity across the organisation, encouraging staff to break down silos and support one another.
Looking Ahead
Held under the theme “Honour, Serve and Thrive in 2026,” the event blended faith, motivation, and wellness to reinforce holistic employee development.
As the programme concluded, Tembe reaffirmed ENPF’s commitment to innovation and member-focused service.
“Everything we do must protect what matters most — the future of our members,” she said. “Let us move into 2026 with courage, gratitude, and confidence.”
The Beginning-of-Year Function marked a purposeful start to the year, setting a clear direction for ENPF — one rooted in faith, unity, wellness, and a shared commitment to excellence.
