ENPF Is Looking For a Chief Executive Officer

The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) has expressed interest in hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

ENPF was established as a retirement savings scheme to provide benefits for employed persons when they retire from regular employment.

The advertised position has been held by Prince Lonkhokhela for a number of years.

The Fund notes that the purpose of the position is for the individual to be responsible for the Strategic Direction, Operations, and Corporate leadership of the Provident Fund to fulfill its mandate.

ENPF notes that the aforementioned position reports to the Board.

In terms of Professional qualifications, the advert points out that the candidate should have a Master’s degree/postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics, or Business Management from a recognized university. Preference will be given to a candidate with a CA, MBA, or CPA.

Regarding experience, the incumbent must have a minimum of (10) years’ experience in an executive position with a pension/provident fund.

“Proven management and leadership experience, a thorough knowledge of provident/pension funds through working experience, including substantive direct working experience in the least two of the primary pension/provident fund management responsibilities (e.g. finance, investments, operations, ICT, asset liability setting, strategic planning, actuarial planning. The candidate must also have a thorough knowledge of investment selection, monitoring, performance, and international markets.”

Moreover, ENPF observes that in competency requirements; the incumbent must be highly competent in Strategic Planning, Leadership; Entrepreneurial Thinking; Teamwork; Negotiation skills; Analytical skills; Technical Expertise; Customer Orientation; Communication; Decisiveness; Integrity, and Influence.
