12th Leadership Growth Forum webinar to host Professor Thuli Madonsela

Compassionate about bringing highly reputable names for the empowerment of the current and future leaders of Eswatini!

This is the Leadership Growth Forum (LGF), which is quickly becoming the ‘go-to’ organization for impactful engagements with highly established and internationally acclaimed individuals, as it is set to host Professor Thuli Madonsela for the 12th webinar.

The webinar will take place on the 5th of September 2023.

Just two weeks ago, LGF hosted the University of Cape Town (UCT) Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, who shed light on leading with compassion and high ethical standards, during its 11th webinar.

The professor is best known for her positive impact on the now internationally acclaimed UCT, along with her international contributions to other academic institutions.

Professor Thulisile (Thuli) Nomkhosi Madonsela, advocate for the South African High Court, will be a speaker at the above-mentioned webinar themed ‘Leading with Courage and Integrity’.

Professor Thuli is well-known for her role as South Africa’s Public Protector, while she’s earned numerous accolades for her passionate advocacy for social justice and human rights- to name a few.

Among her various achievements, she is credited with influencing a proper interpretation of the constitutional powers of the Public Protector and is a former Managing Member of the South African Law Commission. Her research and leadership have since influenced South Africa’s democratic choices.

Her academic qualifications began to accumulate after she completed and earned a BA Law at the University of Swaziland- UNISWA (now known as UNESWA), in 1987.

She now holds multiple qualifications in the fields of leadership, human rights, equality, constitutional analysis, and public administration.

Professor Madonsela is also an author and co-author of books on leadership and one children’s book titled ‘Melo’s Kingdom’ (featuring Scripture and African Proverbs). It is evident that she is not only passionate about law practice but also has a keen interest in the African child.

Members of LGF have expressed excitement and eagerness for this interaction as Professor Madonsela has much experience in leadership and will be sharing it during the webinar.

The professor also designed a leadership framework referred to as ‘EPIC leadership’, promoting leadership that is ethical, purpose-driven, conscious, and committed to serving, which speaks volumes about her values and goals as a leader.

This kind of initiative is in alignment with the LGF prerogative which seeks to provide leadership development tools to encourage utmost prosperity in Eswatini.

As the anticipation for this event continues to build, it is necessary to commend the organization for its dedication to the betterment of the local society at large.
