The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has extended its application deadline for exhibitors and vendors to 30 June 2024, coinciding with the payment deadline, and offering a final chance for participants to secure their spots at this prestigious event.
Trade Fair spokesperson, Siphesihle Nkhabindze, expressed satisfaction with the number of applications received so far but acknowledged that some potential participants may need additional time due to internal processes.
“We have received a good number of applications so far; however, we realize that some applicants may need a bit more time to complete their applications due to internal processes,” Nkhabindze said.
He urged all prospective exhibitors and vendors to verify the availability of space in their desired categories before applying, noting that some categories, particularly vendor applications, may be nearing capacity.
Nkhabindze provided further guidance on the application process, emphasizing that the App can conveniently provide solutions to their enquiries.
“All applicants can check the App to make sure the space they are applying for is still available. In the case of those who want to make Direct Payments (EFT’s), applicants should check, via, the App if the stall they have applied for is still available by selecting ‘Pay Invoice’ under the ‘Invoice Summary’ tab. If you do not get a ‘Stockout’ message, then you can proceed with the Direct Payment (EFT). A ‘Stock out’ message means spaces are full and can no longer be bought,” he explained.
To streamline the application and payment processes, EITF has made its App available for download on the Google Play Store. Alternatively, users can access the platform through a browser by visiting https://bit.ly/eitfweb.
The App provides a comprehensive suite of services, including registration, space selection, quotation generation, and payment options. Payment methods available on the platform include Direct Payments (EFT), Momo, VISA, and MasterCard. Proof of payment for Direct Payments should be emailed to eitfpayments@sipa.org.sz.
