Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) has taken a significant leap in enhancing its service delivery by embracing technological innovation and launching a new online claims platform, MVA eClaim, designed to simplify and expedite the claims process for accident victims.
The new platform, unveiled by SMVAF’s Chief Executive Officer, David Myeni, promises to make it easier for accident victims to lodge claims anytime, from anywhere, using their electronic devices.
Myeni highlighted how the MVA eClaim will address a critical issue for many claimants who previously faced challenges in filing claims outside of regular business hours.
“Accidents can happen any time, even when our offices are closed,” Myeni said. “This new online claim form allows Emaswati to lodge a claim anytime and from anywhere, significantly reducing the need for physical travel to SMVAF offices.”
The CEO further stated that the MVA eClaim is designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind. Claimants can easily upload necessary documents, such as medical and police reports, by scanning them and attaching them to the online form. Once submitted, claims are instantly received by SMVAF, ensuring faster processing and a streamlined overall experience.
Myeni added that this will improve the speed and efficiency with which claims are lodged, processed, and finalized, emphasizing that this innovation is part of the Fund’s larger efforts to adapt to the digital age and meet the evolving needs of clients.
He stated that the launch of the platform is part of SMVAF’s broader strategy to transform its operations and incorporate innovations that improve service delivery.
In addition to the launch of MVA eClaim, SMVAF is rolling out nationwide educational programs to inform all Emaswati about the platform.
The Fund’s teams will be conducting campaigns in rural and urban communities to ensure that every Swazi understands how to submit claims online and fully benefits from the system.
“We want to reach every corner of Eswatini,” Myeni emphasized. “We are working closely with communities to ensure our services are accessible, even in the most remote areas.”

The CEO also highlighted SMVAF’s commitment to strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS), to enhance collaboration.
He added that the online platform further supports the Fund’s goal of seamless cooperation with accident victims and other stakeholders.
Myeni also announced that the Fund is working on integrating customer feedback mechanisms into the system, enabling claimants to monitor their claims in real-time and provide feedback on their experiences.
