The Minister of Information, Communications, and Technology, Savannah Maziya has had the honour of meeting with the President of the Dubai Business Chamber, His Excellency Mohammed Ali bin Rashed Lootah.
The meeting was held at the head offices of the Dubai Chamber where attendees were encouraged to share the possible partnerships with an experienced business person who would understand how best to structure opportunities in a manner that Eswatini would garner the best value.
In attendance were executives from the Dubai Chamber, such as the Head of Global Business and the Head of Africa.
During the meeting, the president and the minister discussed various issues including but not limited to opportunities in education, data centers, and various investments that would be of great value to Eswatini.
The Minister was able to share the importance of collaborating and finding paths of mutual value.
Maziya also took the opportunity to present the ministry’s strategy, making the rest of the participants understand the exciting road that the kingdom was taking in ICT and identifying areas of collaboration.
Maziya’s presentation created an understanding that Eswatini looks to attract businesses and make them feel welcome, with the proper skills, incentives, speed, and effective follow-through.
According to the Communications Officer at the Ministry of ICT Gugu Nkambule, the Dubai Business Chamber is a business chamber with an active membership of over two hundred thousand members.
The Minister also took the time to meet various top business people in Dubai to consider Eswatini as an investment destination for ICT and other sectors.
