The Leadership Growth Forum is keeping to its promise of providing global thought.
Barely a week after hosting the much-celebrated icon, former South Africa Public Protector, Professor Thuli Madonsela, the LGF has revealed that it is bringing renowned author, KC Rottok Chesaina, to a live seminar and book launch in the country.
The ‘Masters of Money’ author is set to be in the country on October 6, 2023, in a venue yet to be confirmed.
Confirming this was LGF Co-Founder Bonginkosi Max Mkhonta, who said their purpose as the LGF was to provide exposure to global thought leadership and best practices.
“We have done that through hosting our Leadership Series Webinars (12 in total since our launch in January 2022), as well as through bringing into Eswatini, individuals who have written excellent books on the topic of leadership.”
“Chesaina is the distinguished author of two great books on leadership, CEO X-Factor and Masters of Money,” explained Mkhonta.
The LGF co-founder further said, that, unlike most books that were a personal reflection of the author’s thoughts, the two books being launched on the day were quite unique in that they were based on interviews with top leaders.
“In the CEO X-Factor, Rottok conducted extensive interviews with leaders of top companies in SA like Vodacom, Bidvest, and Discovery Health, on what it takes to reach the top of these companies in terms of personality traits, business acumen, and leadership values.”
“In Masters of Money, Rottok interviewed over 30 Chief Financial Officers from South Africa JSE Listed companies to share valuable lessons on how to make it in the business world.”
Explaining why emaSwati should attend the event, which will also be a book launch, Mkhonta said for entrepreneurs, managers, and students of leadership, this session promises to give excellent insights into what other leaders, particularly in leading companies in the Republic of South Africa, have done to achieve phenomenal success in their careers.
“This is an important part of what the LGF was established to do, to assist emaSwati professionals and entrepreneurs, to work towards exceeding their potential,” he said.
In his closing remarks, the co-founder said the event would serve as the book launch of two great books on leadership and the opportunity for their members and guests to not only obtain autographed copies of both books but to also interact with the author who is an accomplished professional in his own right.
Entrance to the show will cost E80 for teas and venue. There will be a E480 charge (for both books), and E330 charge (for one book). Please note that payment for either one or both copies includes the entrance fee stated above. Payment will be made only through MoMo and eWallet.
KC Rottok Chesaina is a financial reporting expert and a specially accredited advisor by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). He is an award-winning Chartered Accountant having been listed among the Top 35 under 35 accountants by Accountancy SA in 2015. He was also listed in the top 40 under 40 by Business Daily Africa.
Chesaina is also a best-selling author having published his widely acclaimed debut book Masters of Money in 2022 and The CEO X Factor in 2023.
He is an entrepreneur and founder of The African Professional magazine and The SA Professional Services Awards. KC holds a Master of Commerce degree as well as creative and Financial Journalism qualifications from the University of Witwatersrand.
