The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) has honoured the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Ministry of Home Affairs for their contribution to strengthening social protection, improving compliance, and enhancing service delivery in Eswatini.
The recognition was made during the Lidlelantfongeni Stakeholder Recognition Awards, where ENPF also updated stakeholders on progress towards its proposed conversion into a National Pension Fund.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Phila Buthelezi, said the recognition reflects the importance of collaboration among institutions working to improve the lives of emaSwati.
He welcomed progress on the pension conversion process and encouraged ENPF to continue educating the public.
“Transformation of this scale requires continuous engagement. ENPF must continue educating the nation because informed citizens make better decisions,” he said.
Representing the Ministry of Home Affairs, Senior Official Sdumo Stanley Malindzisa thanked ENPF for the recognition and highlighted ongoing efforts to implement a digital national identity system that will improve service delivery and strengthen identity verification.
ENPF Chief Executive Officer Futhi Tembe described the two ministries as key partners in helping the Fund fulfil its mandate.
“The Ministry of Labour and Social Security provides the guidance and support that enables us to serve emaSwati effectively, while our partnership with Home Affairs has significantly improved operational efficiency,” she said.

Tembe said the stakeholder recognition programme was created to celebrate excellence and strengthen partnerships that ultimately benefit contributors and beneficiaries.
The event also included a tour of ENPF’s refurbished Service Centre, where members praised the quality of service, professionalism of staff, and improved customer experience.
Tembe said the facility forms part of ENPF’s broader digital transformation strategy and revealed plans to further decentralise services to make them more accessible across the country.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment by ENPF and its partners to strengthen social protection, improve service delivery, and support the Fund’s transformation journey.
