The Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) has reaffirmed its leadership in corporate citizenship by donating E2 659 000 through its 2025 Social Corporate Investment (CSI) programme, supporting more than 30 organizations nationwide.
The announcement was made during a special handover ceremony at Mountain View, where beneficiaries gathered to receive financial, educational, and in-kind support to strengthen key community programmes.
Speaking at the event, ESRIC General Manager Zama Ngcobo highlighted the insurer’s dedication to sustainable development and community wellbeing.
“Our investment is not merely financial support,” Ngcobo said. “It is a long-term commitment to empowering organizations that work tirelessly to uplift Eswatini. We believe that strong communities create strong nations, and we are honoured to partner with institutions that make a meaningful difference every day.”

Ngcobo emphasized that ESRIC’s CSI programme remains a prime example of social investment in practice. “The corporation’s long-term partnerships with community organizations have enabled continued progress, allowing key programmes to grow and reach more people over the years.”
Reiterating ESRIC’s vision for the future, Ngcobo added: “We remain committed to supporting institutions that advance education, health, development, and opportunity. This investment is part of our broader mission to contribute to a stronger, more resilient Eswatini.”
With over 30 organizations empowered and a renewed commitment to partnership, ESRIC’s 2025 CSI investment solidifies the company’s role as a national leader in progress, utilizing its resources and influence to uplift citizens and strengthen communities across the Kingdom.
A Multi-Sector Investment in Community Empowerment

ESRIC’s CSI mandate highlights five main pillars: education, health, social welfare and community development, SME development, and sports and culture. This broad framework enables the organization to reach vulnerable populations and create social impact across various sectors.
Beneficiaries included schools, youth organizations, medical facilities, orphanages, and community service groups. A large part of the funding was directed toward supporting organizations involved in health, youth development, and social services.
Beneficiaries such as the Breast Cancer Network, Cornerstone, Zondle Girls Home, SOS Children’s Villages, and the Antivenom Foundation received funding to support life-changing programmes.
ESRIC also provided vital in-kind assistance, including equipment, supplies, and tools that address operational needs.
Notable contributions included essential resources for the ICU department at Mbabane Government Hospital, support for rural schools, and materials for competitions that promote youth participation and agricultural innovation.
In the education sector, ESRIC partnered with the UNESWA Foundation to provide full tuition and allowances for three students from disadvantaged backgrounds studying at the University of Eswatini. This investment ensures that financial barriers do not limit talented students.

Beneficiaries Express Gratitude
Representing all beneficiary organizations, Enactus Eswatini’s Country Leader, Sabelo Dlamini, expressed sincere gratitude and commended ESRIC for its steadfast commitment to inclusive national development. “ESRIC’s support is more than a donation,” Dlamini said.
“It is a partnership, a catalyst for change, and a purposeful investment in every sector represented here today. For some organizations, this support keeps vital programs running. For others, like Enactus, it drives the development of young entrepreneurial leaders who will strengthen our nation’s economic backbone.”

Dlamini further emphasised the beneficiaries’ pledge to uphold the trust placed in them. “We commit to ensuring that every Lilangeni produces real change. We will be faithful stewards of the trust placed in us.”
