DeltaPay has been honored with the award for Best New Digital Technologies by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) at the 2024 Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF).

This recognition follows DeltaPay’s impressive 10-day exhibition, where the company showcased its innovative mobile application offering advanced payment solutions. The application, which facilitates seamless, secure, and affordable transactions, aligns seamlessly with the 2024 EITF theme: “Accelerating Business Growth Through Digital Transformation.”

The pioneering fintech company has operated within the Central Bank of Eswatini’s fintech sandbox environment since April 2024, further allowing the company to test and refine its offerings during the trade fair, ensuring the highest standard of security and usability.

According to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Koch, the response from the market at the trade fair was overwhelmingly positive with both individuals and businesses adopting DeltaPay solutions. He expressed his excitement for the award and further expressed his gratitude to EIPA.

“We are excited to be recognized as the best in digital technologies, this motivates us to break more boundaries in the financial industry by bringing more innovative solutions. I would also like to extend my gratitude to EIPA for organizing the 2024 trade fair and for further enabling businesses and individuals from all over Eswatini and outside to connect, create, and grow. As a business, we have benefited a lot from contacts we gained from last year’s trade fair which have enabled us to accelerate our implementation and growth,” Koch said.

The award for the best new digital technologies that DeltaPay has won, reflects the company’s success at the trade fair and highlights the great potential for technological innovation in the country. As the company continues to push digital financial boundaries, it also sets high standards for future digital financial innovations in Eswatini.
