On Saturday, WesBank hosted a “Ride & Drive” event, bringing together multiple dealerships under one roof. The initiative offered customers a seamless way to explore and finance their next vehicle, in a move aimed at transforming the automotive acquisition experience in Eswatini.
Held in partnership with leading dealerships including Mbabane Motors, Autofin Ford Eswatini, NTT Toyota Eswatini, JAC Motors Eswatini, and Mahindra Eswatini, the initiative allowed pre-selected clients to test drive a range of the latest vehicle models while gaining insights into financing options available to them.
The event attracted strong participation despite rainy weather conditions, with customers taking advantage of the unique opportunity to compare vehicles and make informed purchasing decisions in one location.
Speaking during the event, WesBank Business Development Manager, Cheila Vovos, said the initiative was designed to enhance customer convenience and improve access to both vehicles and financing solutions.

“We have partnered with several local dealerships to create an experience where customers can ride and drive the latest models available in the country and decide which vehicle they want to purchase next,” she said.
Vovos explained that the concept was developed to address the challenges customers often face when visiting multiple dealerships separately.
“The idea was to bring everything under one roof. Instead of clients moving from dealership to dealership, they can explore different options conveniently in one place while also learning more about WesBank and the products we offer,” she added.
Clients who attended the event were primarily individuals who had already expressed interest in purchasing vehicles through consultations with either the bank or participating dealerships. This ensured a targeted and meaningful engagement, allowing potential buyers to move closer to finalising their purchasing decisions.

Beyond showcasing vehicles, the event also served as a platform for test driving and financial education, enabling customers to better understand vehicle financing and make informed choices aligned with their needs and affordability.
One client praised the initiative for its convenience, noting that it significantly simplified the decision-making process by providing access to multiple vehicle options in a single setting.
Vovos highlighted that the “Ride & Drive” experience forms part of WesBank’s broader strategy to enhance customer engagement and deliver value-driven services.
“This is a platform that we aim to host every single year. These are original WesBank “Ride & Drive” experiences that bring together various dealerships, both local and international, to give our customers the right of choice and ensure they select the best possible asset,” she said.
