MTN Eswatini has brought timely relief and excitement to local communities after awarding seven lucky customers with E10,000 each in its ongoing Fak’ivibe Summer Promotion, part of a massive E8 million cash prize campaign.
The prize handover, held at Mahlalekhukhwini House in Ezulwini, coincided perfectly with the back-to-school season, making the win especially meaningful for many recipients.
The promotion rewards customers who spend E25 or more on MTN Monthly Lula Combos, and continues to attract widespread participation across the country.
Through weekly cash prizes, instant MoMo rewards, trolley dashes, and monthly grand prizes, MTN aims to give back to customers while enhancing access to affordable communication services.
Among the seven winners were Nonsikelelo Vilakati (24), Nhlanhla Nkosi (23), Sikelela Patrick Simelane (46), and Sipho Patrick Gamedze (47). The winners expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the unexpected cash injection would go a long way in easing financial pressure, particularly during the demanding back-to-school period.

Presenting the cash prizes were MTN Eswatini Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager, Thandwayinkosi Dlamini, alongside MTN Brand Communications and Sponsorship Manager, Phumla Motsa. Speaking at the event, Dlamini reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting customers and communities through impactful promotions that respond to real-life needs.
One of the winners, Sikelela Patrick Simelane from KoNtjingila, described the win as perfectly timed. He shared that the money would help support his business at home and encouraged the public to take advantage of MTN’s Lula Combos.
“This service by MTN is awesome,” he said. “I plead with people not to waste time but to use Lula Combos. The services are affordable, and the rewards are real.”
Sipho Patrick Gamedze, who travelled from Tambuti to receive his prize, said the win initially came as a shock. “I thought it was a scam at first,” he admitted. “But now I am very happy. This money will help cover my children’s school fees, and I won’t be stressed this year.”

Nontsikelelo Vilakati shared that she plans to use her winnings to pay tuition for a 12-week course she intends to pursue after recently graduating.
Meanwhile, Nhlanhla Nkosi from Nhlangano said the prize money would be used to pay his sister Nkhosingphile Malinga’s school fees. His sister was present at the prize-giving ceremony, making the moment even more special for the family.
As the Fak’ivibe Summer Promo continues, MTN Eswatini is urging customers to keep buying Lula Combos for a chance to win and experience what many have described as a true “Fak’ivibe boost” at a time when it matters most.
MTN Eswatini also announced that the Fak’ivibe activation roadshow continues, with the next stop scheduled for Piggs Peak. Customers in the area are encouraged to come through, register their SIM cards, buy Lula Combos, and stand a chance to win instant MoMo rewards, trolley dashes, devices, and cash prizes as part of the ongoing E8 million Fak’ivibe Summer Promotion.
