This year’s theme for Customer Service Week is ‘Team Service’.
The theme was revealed by the Director of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Trade Mluleki Dlamini on Wednesday morning when officially launching this year’s Customer Service Week.
The Director further revealed nominees for this year’s Eswatini Customer Service Excellence Awards.
Dr. Oliver Museka, the Executive Director of the Institute of Research Management (IRDM) and organizer of the Customer Service Week and the Customer Service Excellence Awards gave a brief background of the annual event.
“Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. The customer service week is celebrated annually during the first full week in October.”
“Since 2016 the Institute of Research Management & Development (IRDM) in partnership and collaboration with International and local organizations such as the Chartered Institute of Customer Management Global (CICM), The Institute of Customer Service Professionals (ICSP), Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA), Eswatini Customer Service Professionals (ECSP) and Ministry of Commerce Industry & Trade has actively been involved in organizing events to commemorate the Customer Service Week.”
