South African bestselling author, global business strategist, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur Vusi Thembekwayo will headline the inaugural Unlock Summit 2025 hosted by The K3Y Eswatini.
The summit is set to take place on 9 July 2025 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini.
While announcing the summit at Bean and Co in Mbabane, Thamsanqa ‘KrTC’ Sibandze stated that the summit promises to help individuals achieve their dreams and create new possibilities under the theme “Unlock self. Unlock others. Unlock change.”
“The summit is not just a one-time event; it’s a movement meant to create ongoing opportunities for everyone, from new entrepreneurs to seasoned leaders,” he said.
Sibandze stressed the importance of staying inspired after the event. “It’s not just going to be a day of coming and getting a heads up, but it is a process and system in place to ensure that you stay ignited even after the event has taken place,” he said.
The theme “Unlock Self. Unlock Others. Unlock Change.” captures the summit’s goal of helping individuals grow while supporting others and driving change in society.
Sibandze added that by unlocking their own potential, participants can empower those around them, creating a ripple effect of positive transformation.
Also speaking during the announcement, CEO of K3Y – Sue Elsey – shared their ambitious vision “to impact 2 billion People” through the movement. She expressed that she sees the summit as a launching pad for a larger initiative focused on harnessing technology and innovative ideas to effect real change in communities.
“In the future, we hope that the summit will become an annual event, allowing this vision to evolve and expand, continually adapting to the needs of the community. So, grasp the wisdom and experience as everybody has something to learn from this summit,” she said.
The K3Y Eswatini is partnering with A Peculiar People for the event. The Chairman of A Peculiar People, Melusi Zox Dlamini, notes the importance of collaboration.

Dlamini then encouraged everyone to bring their questions and ideas to the summit.
