Stucky Motors, one of the leading car dealerships in the country is finalizing plans to bring in the OMODA and JAECOO vehicle brands, which are part of the Chery automobile manufacturing group.

The brands are expected to hit the Eswatini market before the end of this year, offering local consumers more options in the automobile industry.

According to Derick Jele, Sales Manager at Stucky Motors Eswatini, the dealership is in the final stages of securing the availability of these two brands, which are already popular in several parts of the world, including South Africa.

“We are excited to introduce OMODA and JAECOO to Eswatini,” Jele said. “We believe these innovative brands will be well-received and provide a fresh, forward-thinking option for our customers.”

OMODA and JAECOO are relatively new to the automotive scene, debuting in 2022 under the Chery umbrella. These brands are designed to cater to a young, tech-savvy, and future-focused demographic. OMODA, the more established of the two, has already launched the OMODA C5 model in various markets worldwide, including South Africa. The brand has attracted over 3 million online interactions and continues to grow in popularity.

JAECOO, on the other hand, targets urban drivers with a taste for off-road adventures. Its first models, designed with inspiration from nature, feature smooth, organic lines, a waterfall-like front grille, and sophisticated matrix LED daytime running lights, giving it a strong yet stylish presence on the road.

Both brands are built with innovative technologies and a focus on user-friendly experiences, positioning them as key players in the growing automotive market. With OMODA catering to tech-forward city drivers and JAECOO appealing to outdoor enthusiasts, Stucky Motors is optimistic about its impact on the local market.

Stucky Motors aims to have the OMODA and JAECOO models available in their dealerships by late 2024, bringing these globally recognized brands to the Eswatini market for the first time.
