The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) has announced that Ntobeko Dlamini will be its new Director of Communications and Marketing, effective November 2024.
Ntobeko replaces Vusie Dlamini who was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Eswatini Tourism Authority early this year. She brings over a decade of experience in strategic communications, public relations, and marketing to the organization’s leadership team.
ERS Commissioner General Brightwell Nkambule through a press release expressed confidence in Ntobeko’s ability to lead the communications division during a transformative period for the revenue authority.
“We are proud to appoint Ntobeko Dlamini as our Director of Communications and Marketing. Her extensive experience across multiple sectors, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence make her uniquely qualified to lead ERS’ Communications during this era of digital transformation,” Nkambule said.
“Her leadership will strengthen our transparency, accessibility, and client-centric approach to service delivery. Ntobeko has the full support of management as she takes on this important role.”
Ntobeko Dlamini’s diverse professional background spans banking, public health, ICT, standards management, and taxation, making her well-positioned to advance ERS’ communications and marketing strategies. She also holds a robust academic foundation in communications, which complements her extensive hands-on experience in the field.
In her role as Director, Ntobeko will focus on:
- Enhancing ERS’ visibility and brand reputation,
- Driving impactful client education initiatives, and
- Strengthening relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and compliance with tax regulations.
