MTN Eswatini today welcomed MTN Group Regional Vice President Southern and East Africa, Yolanda Cuba, as well as Senior Vice President (VP), Markets, MTN Group, Ebenezer Asante.
The team was welcomed by MTN Eswatini Chief Executive Officer, Wandile Mtshali and his management at the Happy Valley Hotel. Mtshali observed that it was an honour to have the senior executives gracing the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Ebenezer Asante in his remarks noted that they have come to the country to appreciate MTN Eswatini for what they have done for local customers. He added that the MTN Group is going through different phases of transforming itself. “Those that follow MTN Group know that our Ambition 2025 strategy is anchored in building the largest and most valuable platform business with a clear focus on Africa. This will rest on scale connectivity and infrastructure business, making use of both mobile and fixed access networks across the consumer, enterprise and wholesale segments”
Also present during the visit were MTN Eswatini Board Chairperson, Nomphumelelo Dlamini, the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Bank Eswatini, Mvuselelo Fakudze, CEO of Eswatini Railway Nixon Dlamini, COO from FNB Eswatini, Siboniso Mdluli, Eswatini Water Services Corporation Head of Strategy, Sicelo Dlamini, representatives from Eswatini Revenue Service, World Vision, Luke Commission, and Southern Star, among others.
