Eswatini Stock Exchange Names New Board and Market Committee

The Eswatini Stock Exchange (ESE) has announced the appointment of a new Board of Directors and the formation of its Market Committee, marking a significant step towards strengthening corporate governance and promoting integrity, transparency, and sustainable growth at the Exchange.

The new Board of Directors will offer strategic leadership, policy guidance, and oversight as the organization works to fulfill its mission of developing and promoting a vibrant, transparent, and investor-friendly capital market.

The Board comprises professionals with diverse expertise and proven experience, enabling them to steer the Exchange’s strategic objectives. Supporting the Board, the Market Committee will oversee daily market activities, including monitoring operations, enforcing listing standards, and safeguarding investor interests.

In a statement, the Exchange highlighted that establishing the Market Committee is a key move in boosting the credibility, resilience, and efficiency of Eswatini’s capital market.
