The Eswatini Institute of Accounts (ESIA) will on the 12th of June 2023, host Prof, PLO Lumumba at Esibayeni Lodge during their Annual Dinner & Graduation Ceremony.
Lumumba will deliver a keynote address on “Strengthening Ethical Leadership for Sustainable Economic Economic Performance, Economic Recovery, Peace and Social Justice in Africa”.
Prof Lumumba is a Professor of Public Law, a holder of an LLD (Doctor of Laws) on the Law of the Sea from the Ghent University (Belgium), a Master of Laws Degree, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi, to name just a few of his academic qualifications.
In addition to his much-decorated academic qualifications, Lumumba is a renowned legal practitioner and has written several books including, Criminal Procedure in Kenya, An Outline of Judicial Review in Kenya.
The outspoken Professor has also been named and recognized by the International Commission of Jurists (Kenya Section) and the Law Society of Kenya for his exemplary contribution to the legal profession, among an endless list of other international accolades.
He currently practices Law with Lumumba and Lumumba Advocates and coordinates activities under the aegis of the PLO Lumumba Foundation.
Tickets to the Dinner and Graduation Ceremony will cost ESIA members E1 500, and E1 750 for non-members. A table for 10 is selling for E15 000.
The Institute’s Executive Director, Barnabas Dlamini notes that all bookings should be made on or before 6 June 2023.
