FNB Eswatini and Kia Sponsor EITF Win-A-Car Competition

The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has launched its Win a Car competition with sponsorship from FNB Eswatini and Kia Motors Eswatini.

The car will be won by a lucky EITF visitor who visits the exhibition stands at the EITF and fulfills the entry criteria.

Mitra Energy will sponsor the winner of the car with two full tanks of fuel.

EIPA Head of Trade Bongani Ntshangase comments, “We are excited to welcome Kia Motors on board as a sponsor of the EITF Win a Car competition. This competition would not have been possible without our partnership with FNB Eswatini and Kia Motors.

“FNB Eswatini has sponsored E200 000 towards the competition through their subsidiary, WesBank. Kia Motors are sponsoring the remainder of the car’s value to make this competition a reality. The car’s value currently stands at E380 000, which means Kia’s sponsorship currently stands at E180 000. The contribution of Mitra Energy will also ensure that the winner can drive their vehicle with no petrol cost for their first two full tanks of fuel. This is an appreciated sponsorship and will truly benefit the winner.”

The Kia model which is up for grabs at the EITF is the popular SUV the Kia Sonet. To enter the competition, emaSwati need to visit the Eswatini International Trade Fair from 1 to 10 September 2023, visit the stands at the Trade Fair and gather stamps on their entry form.

The entry form should then be dropped into the entry box. The winner will be announced during the EITF closing ceremony.

Ntshangase concludes, “In the past, we have seen winners of the Win a Car competition at the EITF transform their businesses just by winning this vehicle. As any business owner would know, it makes a remarkable difference when a business can be mobile and better reach its clients and move its products. We are looking forward to transforming the life of one lucky winner again this year.”

In addition to Kia and FNB Eswatini, the Eswatini International Trade Fair has this year signed on partners including Swaziland Building Society, Mula Sport, Corban Electrical, Eswatini TV, Eswatini Observer, VOC FM, and EBIS.

More partners will be announced in due course.

Visitors to the EITF can look forward to exposure to over 300 exhibitors during the 10-day exhibition.

The opening ceremony on 2 September, will once again be a free event where emaSwati can look forward to entertainment and business activities to kick start their EITF experience.

During the 10 days, there will be free access to business seminars, government and health services as well as information sessions and product demos.

The EITF will also host all-night gigs, a Gospel Sunday Event as well as a Spring Bash. An African Carnival, fashion show, and comedy show will also form part of the proceedings during the course of the EITF.

Entry fees for these entertainment items will be announced to the public in due course through the media and other platforms.
