The Change A Life Foundation is a non-profit organization whose primary mandate is to enable fellow job-seeking countrymen secure basic employment protective wear and basic materials that would allow them to be in a position to be hired and a better position to take advantage of work opportunities provided to them.

The Foundation has been instrumental in providing much-needed resources to job-seeking men, particularly in the Matsapha Industrial site area, where a high number of job seekers can be found without the requisite overalls, gloves, boots and other protective work materials.

In the spirit of raising funds for this initiative and other programs in the pipeline, such as setting up a soup kitchen to provide at least one meal a day for job seekers, the foundation will be hosting a music festival, dubbed True 2 Life Festival, on Saturday 29 October 2022.

One of the organizers of the event, Bongani Mamba had this to say “If a man can wake up every day, with an empty stomach, and walk upwards of twenty-five kilometers, regardless of weather conditions to stand by the gate of a company for a casual job, otherwise known as a piece job, instead of just giving up or being lured by a life of crime or becoming a street-beggar, what can stop me and you from lending a hand in assisting him with basic employment kits such as safety shoes and overalls to meet him halfway?”

The True 2 Life Festival is a family-friendly event that will feature renowned international acts such as Mafikizolo, DJ Tira and Dumi Mkokstad, together with Eswatini artists Bholoja, Nothando Dlamini, Young Zesh, DJ MixMash and many more. The festival is taking place at Malkerns Country Club with tickets retailing from E350.

Mamba further stated ‘’This event is basically an event of conscience to help raise money for these men who make an effort to fight unemployment by waking up daily to wait at various company gates in the hope of any form of employment. In light of the high levels of unemployment in the country, coupled with tough economic times. Your friends, and your organization can help make a difference by purchasing a ticket to the festival in aid of this cause’’
