AM Consulting has officially launched SwatiPay, a locally developed digital payroll and compliance solution designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Eswatini simplify salary payments, tax submissions, and statutory compliance with the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS).
The launch event introduced the platform as an affordable, cloud-based system built to make payroll processing faster, easier, and more secure for local businesses.
SwatiPay is a fast, affordable, and fully compliant payroll system that enables employers to pay staff, calculate taxes, and automatically submit statutory returns to the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) and other relevant institutions, all in one seamless platform.
Speaking during the launch, Kate Reilly-Warr, Director AM Consulting, described SwatiPay as “the ultimate Eswatini payroll solution” built with the realities of local small businesses in mind. The system ensures that even the smallest enterprises can maintain accurate payroll records, meet their legal obligations, and eliminate the burden of complex manual submissions.
“SwatiPay is about making life easier for business owners,” she said. “For many SMEs, compliance can be intimidating, costly, and time-consuming. We wanted to create a tool that simplifies that entire process, one that’s fast, accurate, and affordable.”
SwatiPay’s main strength lies in its simplicity and user-friendly design. The platform is endorsed by the Eswatini Revenue Service, ensuring that businesses can confidently manage payroll in full compliance with national tax laws. Through its automated system, companies can easily process employee payments, generate payslips, calculate PAYE, and submit ENPF returns, all with minimal effort.
The system is cloud-based, meaning it can be accessed anytime, anywhere, whether from a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Data security is also a top priority, with world-class encryption ensuring that sensitive employee and company information remains protected.
“Our goal was to design something that doesn’t require a large accounting department,” the Director added. “Even a small startup can now operate with the same compliance efficiency as a major corporation.”
The launch of SwatiPay also marks the beginning of a broader vision by AM Consulting; the creation of a complete ‘Swati’ ecosystem of business support services tailored to small enterprises.
The initiative includes complementary platforms such as SwatiPeople (an HR management solution developed in partnership with NDZ Corporate), and SwatiTime (a time and attendance solution).
These platforms are designed to provide SMEs with affordable, reliable, and integrated services, helping them grow sustainably while maintaining professional standards.

“The idea is that when a small business sees the ‘Swati’ name, they know it represents trust, affordability, and service excellence,” she explained. “We want SMEs to have access to the same level of support that big corporations enjoy, just scaled to their needs and budgets.”
To introduce the solution and celebrate collaboration among SME service providers, AM Consulting hosted the first SwatiPay Business Partner Day, also referred to as the Business Market Day.
The event brought together various companies offering essential services for small businesses, including telecom providers, HR specialists, and financial partners. AM Consulting plans to make it an annual event, providing a networking platform for Eswatini’s growing SME community.
