A Peculiar People has announced E. Nathi Dlamini, the Chief Executive Officer of Business Eswatini, as Chairman of the Jury for the highly anticipated 2025 Made in Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards, set to take place on Friday, 25th July 2025.
Melusi Zox Dlamini, Chairman of A Peculiar People, hailed the CEO’s acceptance of the role as a significant boost for the awards’ credibility and impact.
“We were absolutely thrilled to learn that Mr. Dlamini has accepted our invitation. His leadership and credibility will bring immense value to this platform, which aims to celebrate and elevate the very best of Eswatini’s homegrown brands,” the Chairman of A Peculiar People said.
As Chairman of the Jury, Dlamini will lead a dynamic panel of adjudicators responsible for selecting the most deserving brands and products created within the Kingdom of Eswatini. His pivotal role will guide the adjudication process with integrity, insight, and excellence.

With more than 100 local products already nominated across various sectors, the awards showcase the strength and diversity of Eswatini’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Melusi Zox Dlamini emphasized the importance of consumer participation in shaping the nation’s economic future.

To qualify, nominated products must meet the following criteria:
- Be Made in Eswatini
- Be Legally Registered and Trading
- Have a Distinct Brand Identity
- Be Easily Traceable on Digital Media
Winning brands will receive a Symbol of Excellence – a distinctive badge that sets them apart in the marketplace. This recognition will enhance buyer confidence, unlock marketing potential, and serve as a trusted endorsement for both corporations and consumers.
